If you're really cheap, you can probably find a new CPU fan for free in
an old system. Or you could buy one retail for under $25. My old
wholesale suppliers in Calgary are selling P4 CPU fans for $11 - $60.
They couldn't be that much more here.
Otherwise, we just replaced a desktop system in our office (with a 17"
LCD monitor and a M$ OS) for around $600. That was an e-Machine with a
Sempron 3100+, 256 MB RAM, 100 GB HDD, DVD/CD RW. We picked that one up
at a BestBuy here in the valley.
