My Dodge pick-up was made in Mexico!! My Ford van doesn't say where. But we
started looking this summer for new, what got me and we were in the military
26 years and I love my country, but all the "American" brands only offer a 3
year power train warranty, while the rest is usually 5 to 10 years. We
were letting the price of gas make us look for a more economical vehicle. We
didn't buy as I decided we have vehicles the size we want and I can darn
sure put a lot of $3.00 gas and repairs into them for the $27,000+ it would
cost us to get a smaller cramped vehicle and not be as comfortable. And I
can buy more computer equipment too! LOL

How about a Linux Vehicle?

If the quality isn't there, it's best not to reinforce bad behavior.
Patriotism is one thing, but buying for the sake of it being American
is completely different beast.
Besides, most American vehicle companies are manufacturing their
vehicles in other countries, anyway. (NAFTA, etc)

To exercise power costs effort and demands courage. That is why so
many fail to assert rights to which they are perfectly entitled -
because a right is a kind of power but they are too lazy or too
cowardly to exercise it. The virtues which cloak these faults are
called patience and forbearance.
