Running from CD doesn't make it crack proof. It does mean they have to
break in and setup their environment again if you reboot. It also means
the hole will still be there.
Depending on how you're being attacked running from CD and rebooting might
buy you some time. Then again, it might just DoS you and not really slow
down the attack.
