If you've graduated in the last year you'll qualify as a freshout for
several large companies in town. Usually they can hire freshouts at will,
even if there's a hiring freeze. I know Intel can do that.

Ask on the ASULUG list, www.ASULUG.org, about recuiter contacts for firms
like Intel, Honey Signal ( I don't remember if they kept Allied Signal or
Honeywell ), Boeing, Motorola, Dial, etc. If you're not already on the
list mention I suggested asking there. The ASULUG president ( Hi Bryan )
reads both lists.

DeLUG, www.devrylinux.org, might also be able to help with recruiter info.
The DeLUG president ( Hi David ) also reads the PLUG list. Feel free to
mention my recommendation to ask on the DeLUG list if you want an intro
there.

With your CCNA look at the networking academy site as it's supposed to
have a career assistance program. If you want, give me your opinion of
that career assistance offlist ( unless people want to see it ) and
anything else with the networking academy. I'm a worker drone over there
who doesn't actually take any of our curricula, but is interested in what
others think of our work.

Some ISPs in town ( dunno if they're hiring ) are: Deru, FastQ, LimeWire,
EMR and Ensync.

Also check the Maricopa Community College system.

ciao,
