I just set up my Acer 1804, which has a synaptics touch pad, with
Mandriva 2005 LE. The touchpad works very well with that distro and
required no fiddling. Mandrake 10.1, 10.0, 9.2 and 9.0 worked fine on my
previous laptop, an Acer 1705 (also with a synaptics touchpad).
