Easier to read if you would use plain text emails than html
do you have an ip address? get a terminal window open, type 'ifconfig'
if you have an ip address, then report the output of
'cat /etc/resolv.conf'
Cox cable modems are notorious for not allowing you to switch computers
without powering the cable modem off - are you using a 'router' type
device? More information about your setup would be helpful - crystal
ball cloudy.
