My first x86 PC was a 4mhz 8088 and it didn't have a reset button. I
had to turn it off/on so often that the filter capacitors in the power
supply died. Living in a remote area the only source for parts was this
old TV repair man and he wanted $80 for two capacitors. I finally ended
up harvesting two from a broken PacMan game at a friends video arcade.
The box lasted another decade.
