Well, I think I fixed my DNS problem, not sure if it's the correct
way. I manually edited my /etc/resolve.conf file and added my isp's
DNS; yet it states "generated by NetworkManager, do not edit!" I also
edited my /etc/hosts file and added my internal and external ip and my
domain name. I then started up my named service and yum and up2date
seemed to work from there on.
Since cox blocks port 80, i have apache listening to port 8080 too,
and i have https enabled. I think I will stick with
https://lymz.us
more readily than
http://lymz.us:8080 (that's just, blah!)
But now, how do I create/use a SSL certificate.
I will certainly look into webmin sometime soon.
