__LINE__ causing seg fault

I just downloaded the latest patches from RedHat. I am running:
gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.3-7)

When I try and use the __LINE__ compile macro the code seg faults.

Any thoughts anyone???
