Well, I finally got the new power supply installed and hooked up. Unfortunately, the machine still didn't power on. I moved it to another outlet and it still didn't work.
Finally, after not thinking about it for awhile, I took the front panel off and took the switch cover off. I then pressed the swtich itself and the machine came on. I put the cover back on and the machine now works great.
Looks like it was just an unseated switch cover.
Whew! Nothing wrong with the machine.
