FYI: Shouldn't you just set date with:
date MMDDttttYYYY
(Do as root)
MM = Month (ie 04)
DD = Day of month (28)
tttt = Time in military format. (ie 1738 for 5:38PM)
YYYY = 4 digit year (2005)
so, for this very moment:
date 042817392005
I don't believe your timezone would matter one bit once you successfully set
your time. Then again, I could be wrong on that.
