Does not sound good. Going from a lossy format to another lossy format
degrades quality. If you plan to re-encoding, it is better to keep in a
lossless format in the first place.

ogg123 and oggdec can decode Ogg Vorbis to format that can be encoded into
mp3 (such as piping into lame). I think there is some tool to save the
metadata too.
