Don't forget when you purchase a Windows Server you purchase the Media Server
with it, why pay big $$$ for QT when I have WMV and it's prity good quality,
and a mokey with a rock can lock in DRM and even a few call home data
gathering scripts. The monkey with a hammer can do a lot more (Which in my
opinoin should never be allowed, but hey)

But alternatives do exist, it is just that $$ out for $$ in flash still looks
atractive to the disision makers. Not to say that if we (the linux
community) act in a unified mannor we can not effect change (look at the
iRiver, or for that matter the ocasional TRL oddity) but it will not happen
over night and it will not happen on it's own.
