Well, the knoppix people probably could not help because (and correct me if
I'm wrong) PPC is not a popular port for Knoppix. I asked on a few Yellow Dog
list and they sorta indicated I was a fool for even trying (since I should
only run installed YDL?) And the Ubuntu forum was not very responsive to my
request I think, like asking BSD questions on Mac forums, they know it's
relevant, but it still scares them :)
BTW the Mac forums where dead quite to the question and the XUsers group had
never heard of the use of this advanced boot loader / small host os thing to
read and load OS from a file. Eventually some one smarter then I shall port
something cool, and when they do I will say "Hey that's cool" :)
Not a big deal, when I get some cash I am thinking about picking up a F/W
drive and just loading a few things on their. I just wanted to play with a
few live distro's and use the CD/DVD-R drive
