Anyone out there want to take a crack at this for $$ ? Jeremy?
I installed a new verion of Simply Mepis, thinking that I was
preserving my partitions, but like an unbacked-up idiot, I overwrote
them. There were several audio files (.wav and .mp3) that I'd like to
recover, if possible. I'm a n00b and after investigating Jeremy's
suggestions (below) I have concluded that this is beyond my skill
level.
The hard disk is largely empty, and has been lightly used since the reinstall.
Please contact me off-list if you are a forensic type and you are
comfortable with the tools and steps needed to determine if the files
are recoverable. I will bring the computer and $ cash $ to you,
wherever you are.
Thanks -- (the other) Craig
