cox blocks ping packets on many if not most of their residential
customers.
Does this wireless router provide routing for ALL of the computers on
your lan? If so and the other computers work, then you should see what
your dns settings are... 'cat /etc/resolv.conf'
If not, then the problem is routing on your local lan.
