as for 'gentle with newbies' - don't worry about it. If you do things
like post in html, steal threads from others, top post - they'll yell at
you but so what? That's how you learn...it's not personal unless you
make it personal.
The fedora-list has some of the brightest minds I have seen anywhere. It
is a very high traffic list as a lot of people seem to be using fedora
these days.
The only sin that I can think of is not having researched your problem
before asking questions.
