BRUB issue?

I have a frien who installed SuSE 9.1 and he gets the following after
install:

PC goes through it's self check, then if I don't have the CD in the
drive, it gives me a blank screen with a GRUB prompt (kinda looks like a
dos prompt that says GRUB)

I had this happen to me once before, but I can't remember how to fix it.
Any help is appreciated.
