Also, by going 'K' > run command then typing xterm
into the window, you can pull up xterm. Just did it.

OR

right click on taskbar > add > application button
browse all > XShells > Xterm

It will add the icon (sorry, just a generic one, to
the task bar, but when you 'hover' over it, it will
tell you it is the xterminal button.

Unfortunately, due to running off the cdrom, it will
be lost when you shutdown. On an install of SM, it
will be permanent.

Like I said earlier RE: konsole is already there. on
the left of the time button.
