From what I have seen you are best off going to a site like crucial
and just put in your pc model number and manufacturer and it will
telll which memory will work and you can order the memory from there.

You can also put in just the motherboard model number and manufacturer
and see what meemory it takes or place an order.

I have seen where even when memory was purchsaed was the correct type
but not specific for that motherboard cause problems. Even thought
the memory is the same type as another one I have seen timing issues
etc.
