Yeah, the problem isn't a lack of available information resources. Heck,
it's really the opposite, namely an overabundance of information about
Free Software and education.

If I can get help and pointers from people using Free Software in
educational environments that would really help. I was hoping to join a
forum for seul or something before the presentation this week, but I will
not have time to read before then :(.

Cool. Financial support for UNICEF and creators of Dr. Geo and GCompris.

I hope Harry and Justin will make it to the conference. I want to talk
them into showing up to my talk :).

There are other Knoppix-based education Live CDs that are getting updated.

Hmm, looks like the Gilbert project could use some help.

/me puts on Chairman hat and writes contact person for GUSD.

Looks like the St. Gregory project in Tucson is faring better, but still
no recent updates.

I have it. Gave it to my nieces. Heck, I played on it for hours when I
first got it :).

Hadn't seen that one before.

Yeah, more than enough info. I need the Cliff's Notes for all of it! :)

I also want to take copies of either The Open CD or GNUWin II which
contain Free Software compiled for m$ environments.

It would be nice to also have something like that for Mac.

I think I saw one at some point, but don't remember what it is. Thought it
was TheOpenCD.

Hmmm, Ubuntu uses software from TheOpenCD.

Darn. It looks like GNUWin is dead :(.
