Problem finally resolved as root cli with reiserfsck and some mount
tap-dancing between --check and --fix-fixable. The --check requires mount
as ro and the --fix-fixable requires mount as rw (but then tries to do a
--check internally which fails because you are mounted rw). All seems to
be well at this point; the ghost file/pointer is gone and other errors are
fixed.
