you are applying reason to a fear and fears are generally unreasonable.
I think I observed last night that showering in Phoenix the last couple
of days is likely no worse than tubing down the Salt (which I don't do
anymore).
Obviously, the water is running through the Phoenix filtration systems
at a rate that doesn't permit them to certify meeting federal standards
(which may not be entirely sufficient by themselves) and of course, this
water sneaks into our bodies in so many mysterious ways. Like for
example, I had a salad at a restaurant last night and I knew that the
lettuce etc. had been recently washed...killed my enthusiasm for the
salad. My ice cube maker is shut off. Milwaukee's issues weren't that
long ago. The tiniest bit of e coli can go a long way.
