to be fair - you did mark it as off topic
you did notice how the quickly the discussion turned into which AV
sucked etc. Sheesh - the vi vs. emacs, kde vs. gnome, which distro
debates don't have a leg up on the Windows debates. Best not to go there
at all.
I figured if I typed up the 30 second primer that it could satisfy your
needs. Perhaps we should just post it up on the plug web site so we can
refer windows users to it in the future...
