Anyone gotten an ATI Radeon X300 SE to work? The best I can seem to get is a
grey screen with a "X" that moves about in response to mouse movement after
a bit of tinkering with thr config file generated from xf86config (it's
deciding to use the vesa driver).
ATI's website has a driver but you need the sources and I am trying to get
this working with Debian/Sarge (not that I would really know what to do with
the source code being new to Linux... but if I'm going to "hose things" I
would rather do so now since I don't have too much set up ...in the event it
all has to be reinstalled from scratch).
Do I have any options beyond waiting for the offical release of Sarge (or go
with Woody)?
