Subject: redhat default for rm -r
Redhat 7.3 defaults to the -i option which asks for confirmation for every
file to be deleted. I posted this problem here and was given the tip to
use \rm -r which worked. I set up an alias alias : rm -R="\rm -r" in my
.bashrc file. This worked for a long time and then stopped working. using
\rm -r instaed of the alias worked for a while and then it too stopped.
Now nothing works to get out of the interactive mode.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
