If you can write to your harddrive and you can get on the Net ( ethernet
or modem works ), then you can fix the rest of the stuff after the install
is done.

At this point debian should recognize most of your hardware at install,
though. It's been a while since I needed to select drivers for install.
Maybe it's just that I don't do that many installs anymore :).
