The problem with this discussion is that there are people making
judgments that have no vested interest and no training in the law. Each
individual needs to make their own determination.

You seem to want to reduce everything to black and white and actually,
there is a lot of gray areas - I suppose part of the impetus of the DMCA
is to eliminate the gray areas - at least to protect the moneyed
interests.

I think the notion of fair use can allow for a large range of options
but generally they stop when you make a digital copy and transmit this
digital copy to someone else.

You guys are beating this horse to death.
