Telescope Control Program (TCP) xephen

Has anyone on this list had any experience with this program or any other
TCP? I'm buying a fancy enough telescope to make use of a TCP and would
enjoy demoing it and the program at a PLUG meeting.

For my laptop that actually has a real DB-9 EIA-232 port I have Mandrake
9.2 installed while the webpage mentioned RH6 only. My other lap (SUSE
9.2) only has USB ports, which, I assume, could be handeled by buying an
adapter, and a tweek and recompilation of the program.
