Gleened from a couple of emails in the ipcop-user list[1], this is how to
manually correct the problem in 1.4.1:
fix the header.pl file
- Find the line that says "use Socket();"
- Change that line to be "use Socket;"
(I don't actually know where that is on the installed system since I have
installed 1.4.0 or 1.4.1 yet. The command "find / -iname header.pl" will
eventually find it.)
Then reinstall addon server and reinstall Cop+
According to reports, this solves any issues with Cop+ and IPCop 1.4.1.
Or, just use 1.4.0 until 1.4.2 comes out.
