Subject: Given an RPM instruction what to use for Debian
I wand to loan Wine on a Debian system. The instructions I have are for a RH system using RPM

I need to see if Wine is loaded (rpm -q --all |grep -i "wine"). Debian seems not to recognize this command

And if Wine is loaded, I need to remove it (rpm -e) so I can compile it (non-standard) myself.

Is there an equivalent Debian command for the above RPM command?

Thanks

George
