any blind user on list, please contact me

hello
can any user using a screen reader contact me, i have some questions
please.
1. is there any decent sofware speech out there yet, and is it as commin
now as say, hardware synths being used.
2. what is the most commonly used screen reader with software speech
currently?
3. what distro if any comes with or has direct support for these items.
4. is there any blind user willing to connect with me off list to further
discuss this topic in order to not flood the list with out of the norm
subject like this.
