Re: Disk bottleneck

Yea the logic was sound enough for it to peek my skepticism so I gave it
a couple of quick tests.

For some reason I didn't think firing up two copies of tar and piping
them together would be faster the one cp. but it was worth a test and
now I am more informed than before.
