First off, isn't a DOS an attempt to stop a site from serving others?
So, wouldn't DOS'ing that which is already not serving be rather
pointless? Besides, they ask you to send them mail, without regard to
the quantity, and really only they can reduce it.

Second, has anyone else been receiving a message from "Angie" every 2
minutes, albeit marked as SPAM, to their cox.net address? I have 2
addresses and only one's receiving them. Any ideas on what I can do to
get Cox's attention? I haven't been able to get an ISP from the sender's
IP, either by whois, host, dig, etc.

Well they haven't, so I want to send a copy of all outgoing email to an @cox.net address to their address. this should dump quite a few emails to their address and hopefully get their attention. I told their tier 2 guy I was going to do this, and he was ok with it (ignorance?).
