I have solved this problem.
What I did (after the light went on) was set the IP of the firewall on the
Switch side to the IP that the DSLRouter had on the switch side. I
changed the DSLRouter IP to something else (didn't matter what). Now, all
is happy without having to change anything on the servers. Now, finally,
I can go home.
