That's good for you, Rob.

Isn't is nice knowing that you can change its behavior though, if you'd
like to?

I imagine that some sysadmins prefer to have it behave differently (on
machines they don't use but are responsible for).

"To each his own" can be a very good thing. Indeed, a strength of Linux.
