I'm trying to figure out how to use apt-listchanges.
I want to see a list of changes *before* the packages are upgraded.
According to the documentation, apt-listchanges should do just that.
I ran `dpkg-reconfigure apt-listchanges` but I didn't see the question
that asks "Should apt-listchanges be automatically run by apt?".
>From the apt-listchanges man-page I read: "--apt Read filenames from
a specially-formatted pipeline..."
That makes it sound like this should work:
`apt-get upgrade | apt-listchanges --apt`
That command gives the following error:
Wrong or missing VERSION from apt pipeline
(is Dpkg::Tools::Options::/usr/bin/apt-listchanges::Version set to 2?)
`apt-config dump` shows that it is set to version 2.
I'd appreciate it if someone could enlighten me on this.
