I got finally got a response from one of the Arizona delegation. John Kyl
sent a nice, sympathetic but non-commital reply to my letter against the
Inducement Act. The sympathetic parts were:

"..., I agree that the manufacturers of technology such as CD burners and MP3
players should be allowed to pursue new business opportunities -- and that
the consumers of that technology should enjoy reasonable fair use protections
in their own homes."

He then says that he will keep an eye on "activities with respect to copyright
law" and will "be sure to keep [my] views in mind."

The wording is such that it could be easy to think that he agrees with me.
However, he did not commit or really say that, out-right. Not all bad but
far from the solid statement I had hoped for. Maybe I'll write again...
