Announce: East Side Meeting next Thursday

The PLUG East Side Meeting will be held Thursday, August 12th.

Topic: BitTorrent and the Azureus Client

Dennis Kibbe will show us the wonders of BitTorrent. Dennis is our "Distro
Guy" with Linux Distros on tap for burning at meetings with his notebook
computer or by mail.

He has prepared a presentation on a very useful peer-to-peer technology called
BitTorrent. It is being used more an more by FS/OSS projects to get their new
releases out without saturating their bandwidth. It's basic concept is that
the people downloading the data are also serving the data to others that are
downloading. This results in faster downloads to the user and less bandwidth
requirements for the program distributor.

Dennis will show us the basics of this program and then show us his favorite
of many avaialble BitTorrent clients, Azureus. Should be interesting.
