lame

I can't find a repository for it. Can anyone help me out with an MP3 decoder?
The repositort apt-get.org leads me to (deb ftp://ftp.nerim.net/
debian-marillat/ stable main) does not work. Or else.... I there is an
encoder that creates oggs. Is that seen like an MP3? What I want is like a
boombox that I could stick a thumb-drive into and play the music from that;
does that exist? If not would someone like to start a business with me making
those?
