I can with reasonable certainty say that you are wasting your time
trying to get this printer to run under Linux.
Just to see if anything had changed since I tried to find a Linux driver
for my F-30, I did a google search just now. Found quite a few posts
from guys wanting a driver. None saying "I found one at . . .".
If you're interested in using it under the Redmond product (where it
works rather nicely, but quite non-standard), I have the CDs and the
downloaded update. Email me off line if you'd like copies. If Linux is
"absitively posilutely" your sole and only intended use, my advice is
still to get on E-Bay and swap it for a used HP.
