Debian .deb files (a bunch) and dpkg -i *.deb

I downloaded a bunch of .deb files (winehq.org). Dependences of dependences or dependences ...

Did the dpkg thing to the main .deb file. It failed needing dependences.

The idea of doing dpkg -i against each .deb file was not very attractive.

I tried dpkg -i *.deb and it did much.

Is there a risk in this approach?
