I'm currently working. :-)

I started mid-April. There is another opening in my department.

This is a mix of different things, but if forced to pick one thing to
call it, it would be "system administration". There is some talking to
customers. The title is "support", but that will be changing. It is
business/contract support, not end-user technical support, for a
business/contract application running on its own Unix server.

I don't know what the official job requirements are. I do know that you
need to have a strong grasp of Unix and system administration. Most of
the systems out in the field are SCO (I know, I know), but by this point
we've shipped several that run Linux and there will be more built
running SCO. Being a quick learner is a must. The app itself is very
customizable and so it can be tough at times to figure out what's going
on with it. It would be cool to have some experience with paging (as in
alphanumeric pagers), faxing, modems, and printing, too.

Hours are first shift, Monday through Friday. Unfortunately, things
like day classes really can't be worked around due to the nature of when
we have to be available -- business hours in each of the four major time
zones of the US.

On the other hand, benefits are great -- these are some of the best I've
seen in my (slightly limited) experience. And the people are
outstanding.

If anybody has any questions, feel free to email me and I'll try to
answer them as best I can.
