I did "apt-get remove kde", waited,
then did "apt-get install kdelibs3-crypto",
There was no package by the name of "kdebase-crypto",
then I did "apt-get install kde".
(I don't know if removing KDE was actually necessary, though.)
https to my firewall seems to work now,
although there's no way to get to the
"cryptography configuration" screen in konqueror.
