I'm trying to migrate to 2.6, but a few things are holding me back.
Right now i'm working on getting my USB Flash reader (Compact Flash card
reader) going.
I'm using on debian stable a backported hotplug-0.0.20040329-8.deb. The
usb hotplug scripts don't pick up the Compact Flash card reader, which
means they don't load up usb_storage or sd_mod (modprobe usb_storage
will, of course, pick up scsi_mod). Without those two main modules being
loaded, the compact flash reader won't give me a /dev/sda
Has anybody else had these problems, perhaps with their usb-camera? I'm
sure that the answer is to fix hotplug scripts, but i'm not sure where
to go from here.
