pnp bios was for earlier versions of Windows - off is proper setting for
Linux

Auto is the better way to go - unless you have to force specific cards /
built-in motherboard devices to specific IRQ's - My best answer is if
you have to ask, it should be automatic.

Reset Configuration Data does exactly that - reset things to factory
(BIOS) defaults - handy if someone has been mucking around and not
understanding what they are doing.
