I found the D-Link hardware on the last day of the rebate, so I picked
them up to test and see if they were any good. So far, the testing is
not very promising, but I wanted to see what others have experiences.
They are for both Windows and Debian (dual boot), and I did not have a
chance to check the Linux hardware list to see if they were compatible.

My experiences with D-link stuff has been pretty bad. Poor signal
strength and
quality, constant drop and refind of wireless networks. I've had better
luck
with the Linksys equipment and Orinoco for wireless networks. I like
the
Orinoco stuff the best because of the connector on the cards that lets
you add
an antenna or an amp/antenna combo.

I'm guessing these are for Windows boxen as I don't see any support for
them for
Linux...
