If you are in need of a graphical way to open your cd-rom create a file, make
it executable, and type:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Icon=player_eject
Name[en_US]=Eject CD-Rom
Type=Application
Exec=umount /dev/cdrom;kdeeject /dev/cdrom
Dev=/dev/cdrom
MountPoint=/mnt/auto/cdrom
