Subject: Bootable drive snapshot -- dd?
I want to make a full backup of the hard drive on a server. It will be
placed in an offsite test server. What is the best way to get a
duplicate copy (bootable and all..)? Is dd the solution (dd if=/dev/hda
of=/dev/hdb ??)? Can I do this while the server is still online? If
not, is there another solution that will provide the same results?

Just an FYI, the server drive is 60GB with a standard RedHat 9 partition
scheme (/, /home, /usr, /boot, swap) -- I have a 40GB drive available to
copy the contents and utilize (currently there is ~16GB of data total).
