I remember using sysprep tool to clear all the dependencies of windows
to your hardware and used 'partimage' to take the image of NTFS
partition. If you r going to install on the same machine I guess you
wouldn't need sysprep. partimage is cool. Boot of the knoppix and use
the partimage. You can use partitionmagic or Qtparted to resize your
partition at the end. I haven't used Qtparted with NTFS so no comments
on that though. I've used partition magic to resize NTFS partitions
quite a few times and worked well.
